Silfield Oak Primary Academy

Community

Community is an important element for the development of Silfield Oak Primary Academy, promoting our values of belonging, kindness and curiosity. Creating a unique school for the local community is a priority. We are keen to form partnerships with the local community and these have already begun with The Forest School for Life, Hope Community Church and with local childminders and residents- all who will form the tapestry of the school.

As a school we will plan ways that we can give back to our community through kindness, promoting the value of belonging.

If you would like to get in touch to see how you can support the school with a partnership or would like to share any ideas, please email admin@silfieldoak.org.uk

Hireable Facilities

Once the school is open we will be planning for the school facilities to be hireable for the community, pre-school, sports and community groups. This includes:

  • Meeting room with presenter board
  • two purpose built sports halls
  • MUGA Multi-use games area
  • a large School field

Community Events

Once open, we will be planning events for the local community to join school events such as Christmas performances and a bonfire. We are delighted to be opening the school up for pre-school play and stay sessions at our school, see the information below:
