Sunflower class have observed the hatching of 9 chicks as part of their learning and curiosity. The children excitedly watched the chicks hatch and grow rapidly! They ensured that the chicks were well looked after using the Silfield Oak values of kindness and belonging.

Mrs Copeman loved the chicks so much that she has given 3 a home and the children hear regular updates.

The class also watched caterpillars transform into butterflies and the growth of their cress seeds.
